Gilberto Martinez, 78, of Kingsville, TX passed away on February 3, 2023, in Kingsville, TX.
He was born on June 30, 1944, in Kingsville, TX to Maximo and Inez Martinez.
He was a retired operator with Mundy Corp.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jose Angel Martinez, and Jesus Martinez; and one sister, Margarita Martinez.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Josefa R. Martinez of Kingsville; one son, Gilbert (Loraine) Martinez Jr. of Kingsville; two daughters, Lora (Ken) M. Major of Gold Canyon, Arizona, and Maggie M. Garcia (Charlie); one sister, Maria Elma Velasquez; seven grandchildren, Kale, Kaden, Faith, Ava, Jolene, Jonathan, and Levi; one great-granddaughter, Nevaeh; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Memorial Rosary will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
