Gerardo "Jerry" Trevino Jr., 75, a resident of Kingsville, TX passed away on April 7, 2017 in Canon City, CO.
He was born on March 11, 1942 in Kingsville, TX to Gerardo and Angelita Trevino.
He was a retired radio broadcaster and a retired Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He was a beloved Catholic Deacon at the following parishes: St. Martin Catholic Church, Our Lady of Good Counsel, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic Church, and St. Margaret's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria Sylvia Trevino.
Survivors include three daughters, Norma (Andrew) Minkler of Laguna Vista, TX, Maria T. (Bobby) Vecchio of Kingsville, and Bertha (Michael) Hernandez of Colorado Springs, CO; one son, Esteban (Tony) Trevino; his wife, Victoria R. Trevino; five sisters, Guadalupe Aguilar of Kingsville, Maria Elena Saldana of Kingsville, San Juana Castro of Kingsville, Isabel Nava of California, and Carmen Buenostro of California; one brother, Daniel Hernandez of California; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Rosary will be held on Wed., 04-12-2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass with Military Honors will be held on Wed., 04-12-2017 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
A Cremation will follow with a private Burial to be held at a later date.
