George C. Jimenez, 86, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on April 29, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.
He was born on February 20, 1940, in Ricardo, Texas, to Samuel and Marela Jimenez. George dedicated many years of service working in maintenance for KISD before retiring.
George was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosita G. Jimenez; his daughter, Sandra G. Jimenez; and his brother, Ezequiel "Ziggy" Huerta.
He is survived by his loving family, including his daughters, Sonia Jimenez of Sugarland and Sofia Jimenez of Dallas, Texas; three sons, Samuel (Wanda) Jimenez of California, Sebastian Jimenez and San Salvador (Jennifer) Jimenez; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church, with Father Alfredo Villareal officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
