Genoveva Lopez Reyes, 92, of Kingsville, TX peacefully went with our Lord to Heaven on July 7, 2020.
She was born on February 4, 1928 in Mission, TX to Julio and Juanita Lopez.
She was a homemaker throughout her life and enjoyed spending time at Weavers. She was also a member of Central Baptist Church. Mrs. Reyes will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Guadalupe Adame Reyes Sr.; and daughter, Victoriana Reyes (Phillip) Garcia; two brothers, Filiberto "Meme" Lopez, and Serveriano (Raquel) Lopez; and two sisters, Elia Garza, and Olga Balderas.
Survivors include her daughters, Velia Cortez, Viola Amaya, Veronica Reyes (Eusebio) Escobedo, Verna (Octavio) Alaniz, Velma (Eliberto) Ramos, Velinda (Augie) Rojas; and one son, Guadalupe (Eliza) Reyes Jr.; one brother, Antonio (Magda) Lopez; twenty-one grandchildren; fifty-six great-grandchildren; and fourteen great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thurs., 07-16-2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thurs., 07-16-2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home with Reverend Servando Torres officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
