Francisco "Frank" Javier Rios, 88 of Kingsville, TX joined our Lord on April 29, 2021.
Frank Rios was born in Kingsville, TX to Teodulo and Angelita on December 3, 1932. He was married to Josefa "Fita" Chapa on July 3, 1955 in Kingsville, TX at an early morning ceremony. He owned and operated Frank's Electrical Service for 40 years. He served Kingsville the surrounding communities along with many ranches and the King Ranch. He was a veteran of the Korean War served in the Navy proudly as a Chief Petty Officer. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2623.
Frank Rios is preceded in death by his daughter Irasema "Edie" Mayorga.
Frank Rios is survived by his devoted wife Josefina "Fita" C. Rios of 65 years, son Francisco (Ofie) Rios Jr of Corpus Christi, daughter Leticia (James) Noel of Kingsville; two brothers Juan (Carol Ann) Rios of Richmond, and Joe (Mary) Rios of Houston; eight grandchildren, R.J., Cristina, Cindy, Claudia, Corina, Carla, Johnny, and Matthew; ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
His 8 grandchildren served as pallbearers.
Rosary was held at 6:30 pm on Sunday May 2nd at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
Funeral mass was held on May 3rd at 10:00am at St Martins Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating. The burial was followed at Chamberlain Cemetery.
The family would like to recognize his Holy Savior Hospice team for their enduring care and attention they have shown their husband, father and grandfather. The family is eternally grateful.
