Francisco P. Perez of Kingsville passed away August 9, 2014 in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was 73.
He was born on February 9, 1941 to Adan and Anita Perez in Jim Wells County.
He was a Retired Fire Captain with NAS Kingsville Fire Dept. Crash Crew. He was a US Marine Corps Veteran and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Sociology from Texas A&I University. He got his private pilot license and gave ground school classes at Kleberg County Airport.
He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Adan Perez and Antonio Perez.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Maria E. Perez; one daughter, Inez Valerie Munoz of Aransas Pass, TX; two sons, Marcos (Sarah) Perez of South Korea and Miguel Francisco (Lisa) Perez of McAllen TX; one sister, Ana Bazan of Ben Bolt; two brothers, Edmundo (Ruth) Perez of Alice, TX and Inocente (Esmeralda) Perez of Corpus Christi, TX; Sister In-law, Cruz Maria Perez (Adan Perez). Seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Rosary Service was held on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Burial followed at 2:00 p.m. at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi TX with military honors.
