Francisco "Frank" Najera Jr., 86, of Kingsville, TX passed away on April 5, 2021 in Kingsville, TX
He was born on February 15, 1935 in Kingsville, TX to Francisco and Amelia Najera.
Mr. Najera retired after 36 years of service with Central Power and Light. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #2623 as well as a member of St. Martin Catholic Church. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Anna Maria Najera, and Diana Najera Villarreal; one son, Ruben Najera; and one sister, Natalia Riojas.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Rosa Ybarra Najera of Kingsville; one daughter, Sonia (David) Najera Newstead of Corpus Christi; three grandsons, Frank Villarreal, Ruben Villarreal, and Diego Newstead; a loving son-in-law, Jaime (Vicki) Villarreal; two sisters, Consuelo (Mon) Aguilar, and Linda (Laurencio) Peña; three brothers, Raul (Connie) Najera, Reynaldo (Julie) Najera, and Homero (Sofie) Najera; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, 04-08-2021 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 10:00 a.m.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, 04-08-2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Cremation will take place with a private Memorial Service to be held at a later date.
