Francisco Xavier "Jerry" Valdez, 80, of Kingsville, TX passed away on December 7, 2017 in Cypress, TX.
He was born on December 4, 1937 in Kingsville, TX to Federico and Alicia Valdez.
He was a retired Teacher and Federal Program Director in the cities of Kingsville, Robstown, Humble and Cypress I.S.D. He was also a former member of St. Martin's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Federico Oscar Valdez; one sister, Carmela Valdez Avella.
Survivors include wife of 46 years, Rosario G. Valdez of Cypress, TX; two daughters, Carmela Alicia Valdez and Teresa Anna Valdez both of Austin, TX; one sister, Rosa Maria V. Garza of Garland, TX, and one grandson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, 12-10-2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Sunday, 12-10-2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 12-11-2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating and Deacon Raul Rosales assisting.
Burial will be held at Chamberlain Cemetery.
