Florinda Gutierrez, 83, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away on July 19, 2023, in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born in Sejita, Texas to Enrique and Maria Gutierrez on February 9, 1940.
Florinda was a humble-loving soul who spent a huge part of her life living at the King Ranch. She enjoyed taking nature walks, participating in family gatherings, attending church every Sunday, caring for animals, and singing a variety of songs. Florinda was a homemaker who took pride in her housekeeping. Her most joyful moments were being surrounded by children, especially her nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by two sisters, Lydia Gutierrez and Amelia Guerra; and one brother, Enrique Gutierrez Jr.
Survivors include her two sisters, Elisa G. Silguero of Kingsville and Eva Gutierrez of Kingsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, 07-21-2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Friday, 07-21-2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, 07-22-2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with Father Paulson officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
