Flavio M. Salazar, 66, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on September 18, 2026, in his hometown. He was born on November 30, 1959, in Kingsville, Texas, to Juan Gilberto and Victoria Salazar.

Flavio was a retired carpenter who dedicated many years to his work and took pride in the life he built for his family. He will be remembered by his family and friends for the memories they shared and the many moments that made his life meaningful. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Herminia Fite, and his brother, Luis Salazar.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Hilda R. Salazar; his sons, Flavio (Irma) Salazar Jr., and Estevan David (Ruby) Salazar, all of Kingsville; his grandchildren, Flavio German, Ruthiemarie, Joaquin Rene, Nora Azalea; his sisters, Juanita Flores and Noelia Olvera; his brothers, Juan (Janie) Salazar, Guadalupe (Yolanda) Salazar, and Lionel (Delma) Salazar; his sisters-in-law, Sylvia Salazar, Evangelina (Raul) Vega, and Anna (Victor) Saenz; his brothers-in-law, Bud Fite, Ezequiel (Tamera) Rodriguez, and Joel (Kelly) Rodriguez; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, 09-24-2026 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with Pastor Daniel Jimenez officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
