Fernando Rios Jr., 67, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away June 8, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was born on June 3, 1956, in Brownsville, Texas to Fernando and Guadalupe Rios.
He was employed with Medical City Fort Worth as a medical laboratory scientist (MLS). Fernando was an avid sports enthusiast who was passionate about coaching various baseball and soccer teams. He enjoyed music and loved attending concerts with his wife, Cynthia. His kind and charismatic nature knew no bounds, and he approached life with an open heart and a willingness to help others. Fernando will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Adan Delgado.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Cynthia Ann Rios of Fort Worth; two daughters, Gabriela Raquel Rios (Allard Teeple) of Broomfield, CO, and Klarisa Crystal Rios of Denton; one son, Cristian Fernando Rios of Fort Worth; two brothers, Juan Francisco "Paco" Delgado, and Joel Herminio "Chino" Delgado; one sister, Maria Martha Delgado; two grandchildren, Laylah Naiome Perry and Luna Isabela Kirchoff; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Interment will follow at Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery.
