Felismer "Yito" Mejia Vidal, age 76, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas, surrounded by love.
She was born on June 29, 1949, in Kingsville, Texas, to Alberto and Paula Mejia. Felismer devoted her life to her family as a loving homemaker and will be remembered as a faithful woman of deep strength, grace, and unwavering devotion. She was the heart of her family and a guiding presence whose love and care will be cherished always.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alejandro B. Vidal; her sisters, Josefina Guevara, Anna Cantu, and Ester Mejia; and her brother, Alberto Mejia Jr.
She leaves behind her loving son, Alejandro Vidal Jr. of Kingsville, who was a source of great pride and joy. She is also survived by her sisters, Marta Acuña, Rosita Lara, and Mary Jane Vela; her brothers, Cristobal Mejia and Bruno Mejia; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who will continue to honor her memory and carry her love forward in their lives.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Religious Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with Pastor Bubba Stahl officiating. Burial will be held on July 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Chamberlain Cemetery.
