Felipe De Jesus Mejia, 84, of Kingsville, TX passed away November 20, 2017 in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was born on February 5, 1933 in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico to Felix and Venturita Mejia.
He was a self-employed custom boot and shoe repairman. He was the owner and operator of Kingsville Shoe Repair for 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jose Luis Mejia.
Survivors include one his wife of 20 years, Rebeca A. Mejia of Kingsville; one daughter, Patricia (Cano) Mendietta of Premont; five sons, Beto (Blanca) Mejia of Edinburg, Martin Mejia of Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico, Juan Carlos (Melinda) Mejia of Kingsville, Alejandro (Monica) Mejia of Falfurrias, Ernesto (Sarah) Mejia of Kingsville; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, 11-21-2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be on Tuesday, 11-21-2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, 11-22-2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating and Deacon Raul Rosales assisting.
Burial will be held at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
