Evangelina V. Garcia, 89, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on August 7, 2022 in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on November 13, 1932 in Mission, TX to Juan and Celerina Vela.
She was a retired housewife, and was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Garcia and two brothers, Frank Vela and Juan Vela Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Nora (Candelario) ​Aguilar of Kingsville; two sons, George (Mary) Garcia, and Guadalupe V. Garcia both of Kingsville; one brother, Gilberto Vela of El Campo; seventeen grandchildren, Candelario III "Tres", Calixto, Candace, Guadalupe "Lou", Aliza, Nicolas, Josie, George III, Glenda, Gracie, Joseph, Marisa, Georgina, Elma, Teresa, Ruby, and Regina.; thirty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter, Zenaida, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 08-10-2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Religious Service will be held at 7:00 p.m at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., 08-11-2022 at St. Martins Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
