Evangelina R. Caldera, 82, of Kingsville, TX, passed away on October 2, 2016 in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on August 17, 1934 in Kingsville, Texas to Benigno and Sara Rojas.
She was a retired secretary for Falfurrias Glass Co.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicolas Caldera; seven brothers, Israel (Natalia) Rojas, David Rojas, Alejandro E. Rojas, Arturo (Oralia) Rojas, Esiquel Rojas, Elias (Belia) Rojas, and Benigno Rojas Jr.; one sister, Angelina Rojas; two grandsons, Nicolas Daniel Rios, and Armando Rubio Rios.
Survivors include two sons, Armando (Sandy) Rios, and Jose Angel Caldera, both of Austin, Texas; three daughters, Aida A. (Hector) Cruz of Rockport, Texas, Cruz Leal of Alice, Texas, and Aurora (Omar) Luna of San Diego, Texas; two sisters, Raquel (Francisco) Garcia of San Diego, Texas and Elizabeth Garza of Yorktown, Texas; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tues., 10-04-2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Religious Service will be held on Tues., 10-04-2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wed., 10-05- 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at El Buen Pastor Methodist Church with Rev. Javier Canales officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
