Evangelina C. Garcia, 84, of Kingsville, TX passed away February 4, 2015 in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on November 15, 1930 in Kingsville, TX to Manuel and Antonia Castaneda.
She retired after 34 years of employment as a teacher with Kingsville I.S.D.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Agapito B. Garcia, parents, five brothers, and four sisters.
Survivors include her three sons, Mario Alberto (Rachel) Garcia of Austin, Victor Rene (Sharon) Garcia of Katy, and Jose Alonzo (Diane) Garcia of San Antonio; one daughter, Edna Ruth (Leo) Beyer of Fallon, NV.; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Rosary was held on Fri., 02-06-2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Sat., 02-07-2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Romeo Salinas officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
