Ernestina Galvan Vela, 77 of Kingsville, Texas passed away on December 4, 2024 in Kingsville, Texas. She was born on September 7, 1947 in Sinton, Texas to Rev. Enrique and Anselma Galvan. She was a retired homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Natividad Vela; three brothers, Luis Galvan, Victor Galvan, and Oscar Galvan. Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Vela of Robstown; four sons, Enrique Vela of Ricardo, Rojelio (Yesika) Vela of Lyford, Natividad (Gloria) Vela Jr. of Ricardo, and Eligio (Angelica) Vela of Ricardo; three sisters, Maria Galvan, Estella Galvan, and Ester Galvan; three brothers, Hector Galvan, Daniel Galvan, and Enrique Galvan; fourteen grandchildren, Kevin Jimenez, Mason, Dylan, Elena, Misty, Natividad III, Aiden, Isabela, Brandon, Cheyenne, Kassidy, Eligio Jr., Jesenia, Jazamin, Jesus; and numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 11:00 a.m.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Cremation will follow.
