Ernestina Ramos Garza, 93, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away on May 29, 2016 in Kingsville, Texas. .
She was born on November 7, 1922 in Edna, Texas to Jose and Laurentina Ramos.
She was retired seamstress. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Her hobbies included planting flowers & vegetables. She loved to sew, and never even needed a pattern. She also loved to cook, bake, play bingo, and loteria games.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Benigno Garza Jr.; and her beloved grandmother who raised her, Juanita Montalvo Ramos; six brothers, Jose Guadalupe Ramos, Ernesto M. Ramos, Felipe Ramos, Luis Ramos, Jose Ramos, and Jesus Ramos; three sisters, San Juanita Ramirez, Maria Luisa Reyes, and Juanita Hinojosa; and step-mother, Juanita Cervantes Ramos.
Survivors include four brothers, Gabriel Ramos, Victor Ramos, Lupe Ramos, and Albert (Rebecca) Ramos; two sisters, Beatrice (Luis) Saldana, and Flora Garza; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own children.
Visitation will be held on Fri., 06-03-2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
A Rosary will be held on Fri., 06-03-2016 at 6:30 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Sat., 06-04-2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father John Xaviour officiating.
Burial will follow at Old Collins Cemetery in Alice, Texas.
