Erlinda D. San Miguel, a beloved resident of Kingsville, Texas, peacefully departed this life on April 3, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Born on October 20, 1940, in the heart of Sarita, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Luis and Dominga De La Rosa.
Erlinda dedicated her career as a housekeeper with Christus Spohn Hospital-Kleberg, where her warm presence and dedication touched the lives of many. Beyond her professional life, Erlinda found solace and joy in tending to her garden, reveling in the beauty of nature. Her unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her with grace and compassion.
Renowned for her love of dance and infectious laughter, Erlinda had an unparalleled zest for life. Her boundless joy uplifted those around her, and her genuine smile was a beacon of light to all who knew her. Above all, Erlinda's heart overflowed with unconditional love, especially for her cherished daughters.
Erlinda is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband, Francisco N. San Miguel Jr., and two daughters, Debra A. San Miguel, and Denise San Miguel. She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will forever echo through the lives of her surviving daughters: Bernice San Miguel and Francheska Lynette San Miguel (Termeka).
She is also survived by her loving sisters, Juanita "Connie" (Pete) Mireles, Elida (Bobby) Ruiz, and Emma Prado, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who will continue to cherish her memory.
Visitation to honor Erlinda's life will take place on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will follow on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, officiated by Father Paulson. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date, under the compassionate direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
Though Erlinda may have bid farewell to this world, her legacy of love and joy will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. May she rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of the Divine.
