Emma Salinas Garza, 96, passed away on March 6, 2023, in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on May 26, 1926, in Kingsville, Texas to Severiano and Paula Salinas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hipolito H. Garza; one grandson, Joshua Villarreal; three sisters, Ofelia Hinojosa, Herminia Quinones, and Lydia Cabrera; four brothers, Severiano Salinas Jr., Emilio Salinas, Servando Salinas, and Gilberto Salinas.
Survivors include three daughters, Edna (Ben †) Figueroa of Kingsville, Yvonne (Donald) Aguilar of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Dr. Annette (Ismael) Villarreal of Corpus Christi; three sons, Hipolito Garza Jr. of Kingsville, Armando (Sylvia) Garza of Medina, and Robert Garza of Kingsville; seventeen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 10:30 am at St. Martin Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held on March 11, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
