Elva M. Montalvo, 78, of Kingsville, TX passed away January 25, 2022, in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on March 23, 1943, in the King Ranch (Rancho Plomo) to Roberto and Paula Mendietta.
She was a retired pastry chef for the King Ranch and lived in the Laureles Division and Kerrville Location. She was also a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Montalvo III; one daughter, Maria "Lulu" Montalvo; one son, Joseph Montalvo; four sisters, Maria Moreno, Nicolasa Salinas, Edolina Cortez, and Angelina Guerra; and one brother, Robert Mendietta Jr.
Survivors include three sisters, Minerva Maldonado, Ernestina Munoz, and Eloisa Moreno; one brother, Israel Mendietta Sr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Cremation will follow, and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
