Eloy M. Hernandez, age 63, of Sarita, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023, in Sarita, Texas.
He was born July 17, 1959, in Kingsville, Texas.
He was a retired rancher with San Pedro Ranch. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Hernandez; stepfather, Manuel Lerma; and his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Augustine (Leonor) Trevino.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 38 years, Margarita T. Hernandez of Sarita; mother, Adela M. Lerma of Sarita; four sons, Eloy Allen (Vanessa) Hernandez of Kingsville; John Ross Hernandez of Sarita, Tino (Norma) Trevino of Corpus Christi; one daughter, Janice Hernandez of Pearsall; and Eloy (Kaitlyn) Hernandez Jr. of Weatherford, OK; three sisters, Glenda (Elmo) Morales, Yolanda Lerma (Gerald) Esch of Seadrift, and Criselda (Martin) Olvera of Riviera; two brothers, Manuel Lerma of Jr. of Kingsville, and Lee Roy (Linda) Lerma of Sarita; nine grandchildren, Allen Jr., AliAnn, Rianna, Alexis, Jonathon, Natalie, Rylee, Johavin, Avagrace, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Paulson officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
