Elida D. Basaldu, 84, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on January 28, 2023, in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born on May 23, 1938, in Riviera, Texas to Juan and Abelina De La Paz.
She was a retired dental assistant for 20 years. She was also a member of Templo Betel Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose M. Basaldu; and one sister, Ester Gonzales.
Survivors include one son, Joe Basaldu of Kingsville; one grandson, Joaquin Basaldu of Kingsville; four sisters, Linda Reyes of San Antonio, Lisa (Jesse) Gomez of Kingsville, Tina Quintanilla of Kingsville, and Minnie Flores of Kingsville; two brothers, Cheque (Irma) De La Paz, and Juan (Lisa) De La Paz; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home with Pastor Ruben Gonzalez officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
