Eliberto "Bob" Solis, age 63, of Bishop, Texas, passed away on May 31, 2026, in Bishop, Texas.
He was born on April 14, 1963, in Kingsville, Texas, to Silvestre and Maria Solis.
Bob was a retired cook from Kingsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and a former radio announcer for KFLZ in Bishop. He was a faithful and caring man who loved helping his family and friends whenever he could.
Bob had a passion for cooking and was especially known for his love of barbecuing for family gatherings and friends. His generous spirit, warm heart, and dedication to those he loved will be remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Silvestre and Maria Solis; and his brother, Silvestre "Chevo" Solis, Jr.
Bob is survived by his sisters, Bertha Solis and Janie Solis; his brother, Rene Solis; one nephew, Noah Solis; one great-nephew, Gianni Solis. He also leaves behind several aunts and uncles, as well as numerous cousins and friends who will cherish his memory.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at Simple Truth Church, 405 N. Ave F, Bishop, Texas 78343.
