Edna Galvan Soto, age 64, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 in Kingsville, Texas.
She was born on September 8, 1949 in Kingsville, Texas to Fidencio and Alicia Galvan.
She was a retired administrator with Brownsville I.S.D. after 35 years.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Roldan "Baby" Galvan; and sister-in-law, Elaine P. Galvan.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Juan L. Soto of Kingsville; one daughter, Selyna A. Soto of Kingsville; two brothers, Jose A. Galvan of Kingsville and Rudy (Margie) Galvan of Kingsville; two sisters, Emma G. (Roel) DeLaPaz of Kingsville and Linda G. Mendietta of Kingsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Fri., 3-7-14 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Fri, 3-7-14 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Sat., 3-8-14 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martins Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Interment will follow at Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery.
