Edna Louise Garcia, 60, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on November 20, 1963, in Kingsville, Texas, to Jose Guadalupe and Doretta Frida Reyna, Edna was known for her nurturing spirit and a life dedicated to helping others. A retired caregiver and nurse's aide, she touched countless lives with her compassion, working tirelessly to ensure the comfort and well-being of those in her care.
Edna was a devoted member of St. Paul Lutheran Church LCMS of Kingsville, where her faith was an anchor and guiding light. Her dedication to her church community was steadfast, and she found great joy in worshipping and serving alongside her fellow parishioners. To her family and friends, she was a source of unwavering love and support, always ready with a warm embrace and a kind word.
She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Joshua Lee Garcia; two sisters; and one brother.
Edna's memory will be cherished by her daughter, Barbara Garcia, and her four sons, Daniel (Klarissa) Garcia, Jonathan D. Garcia, Timothy Garcia, and James Garcia. She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her two brothers, Arnold Sanchez and Wayne Reyna; her sister, Rita Reyna; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate Edna's life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, located at 521 E. Doddridge Ave., Kingsville, Texas.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, in Chamberlain Cemetery.
