Edelina "Nina" Sarabia Suarez, peacefully passed away on April 16, 2024, in her cherished hometown of Kingsville, Texas. Born on October 3, 1936, to the late Pablo and Genoveva Sarabia, Nina's life was a testament to love, faith, and devotion.
Nina embraced the role of a dedicated homemaker, pouring her heart into nurturing her family and creating a warm, welcoming home. Her commitment to her loved ones extended beyond the walls of her house; she was a steadfast member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, where her unwavering faith illuminated her path. She also loved listening to Tejano and Mariachi music.
One of Nina's greatest joys was spending cherished moments with her family and friends, sharing laughter, love, and creating lasting memories together. Whether attending family gatherings or simply enjoying each other's company, her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her. Nina found solace in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in tending to her beloved outdoor spaces, where she found tranquility and beauty in the blossoming of nature.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Lisa (Gilbert) Garza of Hondo, and Araceli "Shelly" Suarez of Kingsville; her adoring grandchildren, Leanna and Cristian; a beloved great-granddaughter, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews who will carry her spirit forward.
