Dora V. Acevedo, 89, of Kingsville, TX passed away March 10, 2017 in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on May 8, 1927 in Hebbronville, TX to Edelmiro and Guadalupe Vasquez.
She was a retired housewife.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Acevedo; one brother, David Vasquez; one sister, Aurora (John) Brown; and one brother-in-law, Robert Cavazos.
Survivors include one niece, Glenda M. Chase of Kingsville; one nephew, Rogelio V. Perez of Beeville; one sister-in-law, Martina Vasquez; two sisters, Lydia Fernandez of Kenneywikk, Washington, and Gloria Cavazos of Florydada, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Thurs., 03-16-2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Thurs., 03-16-2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Fri., 03-17-2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery.
