Donna Lee De La Rosa, 61, of Kingsville, TX, passed away on June 5, 2024, in her hometown. Born on July 12, 1962, in Gulfport, Mississippi, Donna life was marked by love, creativity, and an enduring spirit.
A retired retail manager with Dollar General, Donna was known for her unwavering commitment to her work and her kindness towards everyone she met. She was a devoted mother to her children, and a cherished grandmother to her grandsons. Her family was her greatest joy, and she relished every moment spent with them.
Donna was an artist at heart and enjoyed spending her free time coloring. She also loved playing games at the casino, where she enjoyed the thrill and excitement. She had a special bond with Jenkins, Lila, and Monkee, who brought her endless happiness.
Donna's vibrant spirit and warm personality touched many lives. She never met a stranger and her presence brought light to every room she entered. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Potter, and her brother, Robert "Bobby" Potter. Donna is survived by her son, Ruben (Christi) Naranjo of Kingsville; her daughter, Julie De La Rosa of Kingsville; her life partner, Santiago De La Rosa Jr.; stepsons, Charlie (Eva) De La Rosa, and Simon De La Rosa, her brother, Donald (Kim) Potter Jr.; and her four grandchildren, Xander, Lucias, Toby, and Titan, Trishtian, and Hayden; aunt, Sandy Cowan; and nephews, Bobby, Caleb, Morgan, and Kinsley.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on the same day at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A private Graveside Service will follow at Riviera Cemetery.

Donna's legacy of love and kindness will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed.
