Domingo R. Salinas Jr., 87, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025, in his hometown. He was born on January 2, 1938, to Lorenzo Salinas Sr. and Maria Salinas. Domingo was a retired truck driver who took great pride in his work and in everything he did throughout his life. A man of deep faith, he was a devoted member of Templo Betel Assembly of God. Above all, Domingo loved his family and cherished the time he spent with his loved ones.Domingo's life and legacy touched many, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.He is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Amalia R. Salinas, with whom he shared a life deeply rooted in love, family, and faith. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and two step-sisters. Domingo is survived by his two daughters, Rosie (David) Silva and Janie (Nick) Martinez, both of Kingsville; his grandchildren, Ann Marie, Jennifer, Davlin, John David, Michael, Olivia, and Bianca; his sisters, Alicia Flores and Herlinda Bazan; and his brothers, Jesus Salinas, Esteban Salinas, Enrique Salinas, and Jose Salinas. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held Monday, December 29, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, followed by interment at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
