Dolores Huerta, 86, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away September 5, 2020 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was born on April 9, 1934 in General Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Mr. and Mrs. Enrique and Maria de Jesus Garza.
She was a retired homemaker.
She is preceded in death by one sister, Josefa Garza; two brothers, Estevan Garza and Armando Garza; and one daughter, Sylvia Ibarra.
Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Adan Huerta of San Benito, TX; seven daughters, Benilde (Jesus) Pena-Ibarra, Rosa (Rogelio) Gutierrez, Leticia Ibarra-Garza, Esmeralda (Juan) Bazan, Norma (Jorge) Lara, Dolores Huerta, and Claudia (Bobby) Huerta; four sons, Juan (Victoria) Ibarra, Roberto (Alejandra) Ibarra, Arturo (Guadalupe) Ibarra, and Rafael (Cynthia) Huerta; one sister, Guadalupe Garza; two brothers, Elias Garza and Beto Garza; thirty grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thurs., 09-10-2020 at 8:30 a.m. at Coastal Bend Fellowship.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thurs., 09-10-2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Coastal Bend Fellowship with Pastors Noe Trevino and Ralph Huerta officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
