Delia R. Cuellar, a beloved resident of Kingsville, Texas, peacefully passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 80. She was born on August 21, 1943, in La Feria, Texas, to her devoted parents Federico and Maria Cuellar.
Delia dedicated her life to education, serving as a compassionate teacher's aide in the special education department at K.I.S.D. Her commitment to nurturing and supporting students left a lasting impact on the lives of many.
She is survived by her loving family, including her cherished daughter, Melissa Mendietta (Gino), her two sons, Robert Cuellar Garza, and Richard Cuellar Garza. Delia is also remembered fondly by her sisters, Diana Gonzalez, and Delfina Hernandez, and her brothers, Antonio Cuellar, and Federico Cuellar Jr. She leaves behind eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, each a testament to the love and warmth she bestowed upon her family.
Delia's memory will be forever cherished by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, who were touched by her kindness and wisdom. Her legacy of love and family bonds will live on through the generations she influenced.
A Graveside Service to honor and celebrate Delia's life will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery, providing an opportunity for friends and family to gather and share their memories.
