Delia Marody Arriaga, 88, of Kingsville, Texas passed away September 7, 2023, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was born on July 8, 1935, in Kingsville, Texas to Abel and Isidora Benavidez.
She was a retired homemaker, who was a beloved matriarch of the Marody family. She was involved with Cub Scouts of America, and a former board member of Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery. She loved family outings and visits with her family and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her two husbands, John Vicente Marody, and Maximo Arriaga; one daughter, Carol Sue Moreno; and one son, John Vicente Marody Jr.
Survivors include two sons, Carl James Marody of Kingsville, and Kenneth Michael (Cindy) Marody of Victoria; nine grandchildren, John Aaron, Adrian, Kimberly, Jacklyn, Jason, Jonathan, Alyssa, Jaclyn, and Amber; one brother, Abel (Lilly) Benavidez; and numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Doctors and Staff of Post Acute Specialty Hospital for their love and care during the last few weeks.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 10:00 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
