David Robles, 77, of Kingsville, TX passed away February 15, 2021 in Kingsville, TX.

He was born on November 16, 1943 in Kingsville, TX.

David was a retired employee at Christus Spohn Kleberg Hospital. He was a good man, and a great provider to his wife and children. He will be most fondly remembered as a wonderful father, an amazing grandfather, his love of cooking and for his dedication to his family. On Sundays, his children and their families could most likely be found crammed around the table eating his delicious food and the tastiest sweets that only a true early bird could claim. Through his cooking he brought family unity and pushed his strong family values. He often encouraged forgiveness and acceptance between family members through the many trials and tribulations that life often brings. David found great joy in attending the sporting events of his grandchildren and was supportive and active in their lives. He will be sorely missed, and his legacy will live on through his greatest joy—his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sara Saldana; three brothers, Alfredo Robles, Esteban Benavides and Ovidio Saldana; and one sister, Teresa Arredondo.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years Dolores Robles; two sisters, Adelina Robles of Pharr, TX and Josie Benavides of Corpus Christi, TX; one son, David (Sonia) Robles Jr. of Kingsville, TX; three daughters, Diana (Charles) Shelton of Kingsville, TX, Delma (Jesse) Garcia of Kingsville, TX and Maria "Dolly" Robles of Kingsville, TX; six grandchildren, Jacoba Ashly (Ruben), David Scott (Andrea), Andrew Charles (Jennifer), Samuel Francisco, Jesus "L.J.", and Genesis Taylor; three great-grandchildren, Kaliyah, Andyn Charles and Christian Yadier; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sat. 02-20-2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sat., 02-20-2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Cremation will follow and a private family Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
