Daniel S. Zapata, 67, of Kingsville, TX passed away September 23, 2020 in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was born on November 28, 1952 in Kingsville, TX to Mr. and Mrs. Carlos and Teresa Zapata.
He was a retired social worker in the surrounding areas. His past employers were the TX. Department of Human Resources, Kleberg Co. Probation Office, Retama Manor Nursing Center, and Lone Star Ranch Rehab. He was also a member of St. Martin Catholic Church and St. Martin Men's Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irma Hinojosa Zapata.
Survivors include four sons, Daniel Zapata Jr., Diego Zapata, Daniel Moreno, and Luis Alberto Zapata, all of Kingsville; one sister, Christina Zapata of Port Lavaca; two brothers, Julian Zapata of Austin, and Juan Zapata of Kingsville; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tues., 09-29-2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Tues., 09-29-2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be on Tues., 09-29-2020 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
