Daniel Moreno, 59, of Kingsville, Texas was peacefully called to join our Lord on September 20, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on January 16, 1964, in Kingsville, Texas.

Daniel was employed in the oilfield industry for more than 20 years as a roughneck. Afterwards, he worked in landscaping and construction. His hobbies included fishing, barbecuing, auto detailing, listening to conjunto jams and enjoying a good time. He took great pride in working hard to be a provider to his family and friends. His loving thoughtful heart was driven each day to fight by always making sure everybody was taken care of. Daniel will forever be truly missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his father, Antonio Moreno; one sister, Patricia Luna; one brother, Esteban Moreno; and one granddaughter, Leah.

Survivors include his mother, Esperanza A. Lomas of Kingsville; four daughters, Melanie Moreno of San Antonio, Melinda Gomez of Bishop, Jennifer (Damien) Dasher of Rockport, and Annina (Ryan) Moreno-Martinez of San Antonio; two brothers, Antonio Moreno Jr. of Kingsville, and Israel Moreno of San Antonio; five grandchildren, Daniel, Francisco "Three", Anali, Alfredo "Freddy", and Kylie; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
