Daniel V. Hernandez, 59, of Corpus Christi, Texas departed this life on January 31, 2024, in Corpus Christi, TX.

Born on April 22, 1964, to the late Jesus Hernandez and Jovita Alvarez, Daniel was a devoted foundation repairman, dedicating his skills to ensuring the stability of homes and structures. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather.

Daniel is preceded in death by two brothers, Ricardo Hernandez, and Carlos Hernandez, and one sister, Beatrice Hernandez. He is survived by his loving wife, Patty Smith of Corpus Christi; daughter, Shelby Lynn Hernandez (Julian); son, Daniel Hernandez Jr. (Kathy); three sisters, Sylvia H. (Juan) Arrellano, Rachel Hernandez, and Cynthia Hernandez; one brother, Jesus Hernandez Jr.; six grandchildren, Julian Jr., Adah, Daniel III, Damien, Alyzea, and Guadalupe; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation to celebrate Daniel's life will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Graveside Service to honor and remember Daniel will be held at a later date.
