Daniel E. Cuellar Jr. , 67, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Sun., Aug. 3, 2014 in Cuero, Texas.
He was born on September 8, 1946 in Cuero, TX.
He was a self-employed barber and Christian/Gospel vocalist and guitarist for the Jericho's throughout South Texas Churches affiliated w/ United Pentecostal Local Churches Int'l Inc. He was also an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Manuelita "Meme" Montoya.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim Rene' Trujillo of Houston, and Betty Jo (Martin) Perez of Bishop; two sons, Daniel E. Cuellar III of Kingsville, and Gregory L. (Nohemi) Cuellar of Austin; one brother, Derle (Molly) Cuellar of Cuero; one sister, Ruth Jimenez of Bishop; step-father, Israel "Lelo" Montoya; fourteen grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tues., 08-05-2014 from 9:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Religious Service will be held on Tues., 08-05-2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wed., 08-06-2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Gregory Cuellar officiating.
Burial will follow at Evangelico Cemetery.
