Corando "Cory" Garza Jr. went to be with our heavenly father on February 4, 2022, at the age of 49. He was a proud graduate of H.M. King High School and Texas A&I University. Cory was employed in the pharmaceutical sales industry and was a representative with Allegis Pharmaceuticals.
He was a pillar of the community being actively involved in numerous organizations that included The Knights of Columbus Council 2623, Kingsville Education Foundation and Kingsville Athletic Booster Club. Cory was also a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church. Cory's profound passion for Education directed him to be elected to serve as a Board Trustee for the Kingsville Independent School District where he was currently serving as the Board President.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents Heraclio "Laco" and Olivia O. Garcia; and paternal grandparent Manuel C. Garza. To honor and treasure his memory, he leaves behind his son, Grant Garza; daughter, Addison Garza, his fiancé Julie Rios: Parents, Corando and Glenda Garza; Sister Lizette (Hector) Cantu; brother, Cody Garza; nephew, Landon Cantu; paternal grandmother, Imelda C. Garza. Other survivors are many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 P.M. at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church. A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
