Consuelo "Connie" M. Lopez, 83, of Kingsville, TX passed away October 15, 2020 in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on December 8, 1936 in Calahan, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Enrique and Timotea Muniz.
Mrs. Lopez was a retired owner and operator of Connie's Cleaning Service. Also, to be noted, she was the first female bus driver of Kingsville Independent School District. She was a lifelong member of Templo Betel Assembly of God Church. She loved to praise and worship our Lord Jesus Christ and often sang with local churches.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herminio C. Lopez; three brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Glenda (Simon) Saavedra of Riviera, and Irma Lopez Garcia of Kingsville; one son, Robert M. "Bobby" Lopez of Laredo; two sisters, Sara Gonzales of Kingsville, and Esther (Ruben) Velasquez of Kingsville; one sister-in-law, Eva Muniz; five grandchildren, Connie Ruth, Crystal Marie, Justin Ray, Joseph Simon, Jeremy Richard; seven great-grandchildren, Grace Marie, David Hugo III, Ezekiel Norberto, Roselynn Ruth, Livia Fe, Julien Ray, and Abigail Lillian.
Visitation will be held on Mon., 10-19-2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Mon., 10-19-2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church with Pastor Servando Torres and Pastor Samuel Lopez co-officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
