Consuelo S. Benavides, age 79, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was born on January 20, 1934 in Kingsville, TX to Amado and Consuelo Saldana.
She was a retired sales clerk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Benavides.
Survivors include four daughters, Irene (Jose) Ramirez of Corpus Christi, Annabel (Jose) Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Sandra (Javier) Cerda of Huntington Beach, California, Norma (Joseph) Ramirez of Corpus Christi; five sisters, Laura Hinojosa, Minerva Trevino, Rosie Saenz, Lulu Lugo, Emelda Gonzales; step-mother, Herlinda Saldana; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tues., 11-05-2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
A Rosary will be held on Tues., 11-05-2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral mass will be held on Wed., 11-06-2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martins Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
