Concepcion M. "Connie" Chavez, 58, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away September 2, 2020 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was born on August 25, 1962 in Laredo, TX to Mr. and Mrs. Jesus and Minerva Montalvo.
She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant, working over twenty years in the surrounding and Hill Country areas.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Jesus Montalvo Jr., and parents, Adolfo and Maria Chapa.
Survivors include her husband Gilberto Angel Chavez of Kingsville, TX; one son, John Ernest Romero of Kingsville, TX; one daughter, Ruth (Mateo Rene) Gonzalez of Kingsville, TX and one step-daughter, Briana Chavez of Kingsville; two step-sons, Travis (Gilma) Lewis of Kingsville, and Mando Cavazos of Kingsville; five sisters, Irma Cortez, Norma (Espi) Ramos, Cindy (David) Wallace, Linda Lee Montalvo, and Frances Cisneros, all of Kingsville, TX; three brothers, Ernesto Montalvo, Roberto Montalvo, and Miguel Montalvo, all of Kingsville, TX ; fifteen grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Fri., 09-11-2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Fri., 09-11-2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
