Carmen S. Kocurek, 77, of Kingsville, TX passed away on July 23, 2018 in Kingsville, TX.
She was born on February 13, 1941 in Kingsville, TX to Brigido and Rosa Salinas.
She was a retired housekeeper with King Ranch Inc.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Kocurek; two brothers, Arturo Salinas and Victor Salinas; three sisters, Soila Perez, Elda Munoz, and Genoveva Solis.
Survivors include three sons, Felix Chavez Jr. of Kingsville, Robert Barrera of Kingsville, and Albert (Christine) Barrera Jr. of Corpus Christi; two daughters, Rosa Maria (Joe) Griggs of Alice, and Elizabeth Barrera of Kingsville; five brothers, Carlos (Maria) Salinas of Kingsville, Arnold Salinas of Kingsville, Brigido Salinas Jr. of Kingsville, Rolando Salinas of Kingsville, and Joe Henry Salinas of Rosenburg; five sisters, Laura Yolanda Chavez of Kingsville, Delia Floyd of El Campo, Edna Salinas of Kingsville, Olga (Hector) Cavazos of Corpus Christi, and Guadalupe Gonzales of Robstown; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wed., 07-25-2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Wed., 07-25-2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thurs., 07-26-2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Roberts Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in El Campo, TX.
