Carmen was a passionate enthusiast of Spanish novelas, finding joy and entertainment in the captivating narratives that brought stories to life on screen. Her warm and welcoming spirit extended to her community, as she was an active member of St. Martin's Catholic Church, where she found solace and shared her faith with others.
Family was at the center of Carmen's heart, and she delighted in attending family events, barbeques, and gatherings. Her presence brought joy and laughter to these occasions, creating lasting memories for all who were fortunate enough to share in those moments.
Carmen is preceded in death by her brother, Manuel Garcia Jr., and her sister, Graciela Garcia Soliz. She is survived by her loving sister-in-law, Urbana C. Garcia, and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, and cousins. Carmen's legacy lives on through the lives she touched, and her memory will be cherished by those who knew her.
The family will receive friends and relatives during the visitation on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., offering a moment of reflection and prayer.
A Funeral Mass, officiated by Father Alfredo Villarreal, will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church.
Following the Mass, Carmen will be laid to rest at Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery. The burial ceremony will be a time for family and friends to bid their final farewells and find solace in the memories they shared with Carmen.
