Candido O. Mendietta, 57, a resident of Premont, Texas passed away on January 2, 2022, in Premont, Texas.
He was born on August 29, 1964, in Atascosa County, Texas to Jose and Maria Ofelia O. Mendietta.
He was a former waste manager with W.F.I. Services. He was also a member of St. Gertrude's Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Maria G. Ramirez and one brother, Leopoldo Mendietta.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia M. Mendietta of Premont, Texas; one stepson, Rolando Arguijo Jr.; two brothers, Jose (Janie) Mendietta Jr. of Kingville, Texas and Julian (Rosie) Mendietta of Kingsville, Texas; two sisters, Maria Virginia (Ray) Salinas of Kingsville, Texas, and Sulema (Eliseo) Resurez of Bishop, Texas; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
