Blanca H. Jaimes, 91, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away on December 15, 2022, in Bishop, Texas.
She was born on August 19, 1931, in San Diego, Texas to Samuel and Antonia (Garza) Hinojosa.
She was a retired teacher with Ricardo ISD and a graduate of Texas A & I University. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Armando C. Jaimes; one brother, Manuel M. Hinojosa; her in-laws, Eliseo and Paula Jaimes, Carlos and Aurora Jaimez, Lupe Jaimes, Jr., Sylvia (Nino) Villarreal, Abel Jaimes, Jesus Jaimes, and Dorothy Jaimes.
Survivors include three daughters, Lucila, Lois, and Gisela; three sons, Lewis, Danny, and Don; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Oscar) Garcia, Michael, and John; four great-grandchildren, Marc, Julian, Paloma, and Emily; in laws, Cecilia Hinojosa, Iona Jaimes, Imelda Jaimes, Velma Jaimes, George Jaimes, and Gilbert (Corina) Jaimes; numerous nieces and nephews, fellow educators, students, and The Ed-Man.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
