Billy Joe Martinez, 48, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away on April 22, 2023, in Dallas, Texas surrounded by his family.
He was born on October 28, 1974, in Kingsville, Texas.
Billy was a down to earth guy who loved life and helping others. He was a movie actor who starred in several movies throughout the years, with Linda McAllister Talent and then went on to be the owner and operator of Dallas Resale for over 20 years. Through the years, Billy enjoyed fishing, singing, karaoke, watching football and making friends wherever he went. His favorite football team was the Kansas City Chiefs. Billy was a stranger to no one and found great purpose in helping others. Billy was authentically and wholeheartedly there for those in his life.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Pete Anthony Chavez; and one grandmother, Paula Martinez.
He is survived by his fiancé, Rachel Caudillo; his parents, Carlos and Andrea M. Chavez; grandfather, Isabel Martinez; five sisters, Anna (Rudy) Hall, Mary Jane Obregon, Angelica (Rigo) Olivo, Jessica Chavez, and Tommie (Robert) Vela; two brothers, Danny (Selina) Chavez, and Carlos Chavez III; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, 04-29-2023 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 04-29-2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home with Reverend Servando Torres officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
