Obituary

Baldomero Ortiz passed away on October 8, 2023, at age 88, in Bishop, Texas.
He was born to Octavia Tamez on January 16, 1935, in Bishop, Texas.
He was a retired pipefitter and a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Baldomero is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Matilde Villanueva; one son, Johnny Ortiz; one brother, Lorenzo Ortiz; and one grandson, Omar Ortiz.
Among those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Maria (Joe) Adame of Bishop; five sons, Baldomero Ortiz Jr. of Kingsville, Eduardo V. Ortiz of Pasadena, Armando (Cindy) Ortiz of Pasadena, Ruben (Michel) Ortiz of Kingsville, and David (Delphie) Ortiz of Driscoll; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Mrs. Adame would like to extend her sincere gratitude and appreciation to Devoted Hospice for their care of Mr. Ortiz. Additionally, the Adame & Ortiz family would like to thank everyone who has offered their condolences and prayers for the family.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home with Father Luke officiating.
A private Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
