Aurelia Gomez Esparza, 85, of Houston, TX passed away March 9, 2022, in Houston, TX.
She was born on August 4, 1936, in Kingsville, Texas to Pedro and Teodora Gomez.
She was formerly from Ricardo, TX, and was a retired cafeteria worker with Ricardo I.S.D. and Galena Park I.S.D.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Esparza Sr., and one grandson, Robert Michael Espinoza.
Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia E. Espinoza of Houston, TX, and Rosa Trevino of Kingsville, TX; three sons, Salvador G. Esparza of Houston, TX, Antonio (Lucinda) Esparza Jr. of Houston, TX, and Juan (Monique) Esparza of Houston, TX; eleven grandchildren, Michelle, Peter, Jennifer, Christina, Joseph, Rene, Timothy, Jessica, Eric, Adrian, and Ilana; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sun., 03-13-2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Sun., 03-13-2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Mon., 03-14-2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church with Father Alfredo Villarreal officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
