Atanacio Cruz Sr., 95, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away January 23, 2020 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He was born on May 2, 1924 in San Benito, TX to Lucio and Jacinta Cruz.
He was a retired rancher. He was also a member St. Martin Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita G. Cruz; one son, Manuel Cruz; and one daughter, Ofelia Torres.
Survivors include one son, Atanacio (Linda) Cruz Jr. of Kingsville; six daughters, Janie (David) Davila of Corpus Christi, Janet Cruz Redus of Katy, Terrie (Alex) De La Garza of Houston, Sylvia (Joe) Ortega of Kingsville, Olivia (Juan) Herrera of Kingsville, and Lilly (Ismael) Castillo of Kingsville; and several brothers and sisters; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thurs., 01-30-2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be held on Thurs., 01-30-2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Fri., 01-31-2020, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
